If you are looking for city central accommodation for up to 3 guests close to all the major attractions then this excellent studio apartment is absolutely ideal.
Forget boring dusty city hotels and independent suites – why not enjoy your holiday together living under one roof in this well designed and comfortable apartment? You will find traditional high exposed wooden ceilings, wooden floorboards and tall gracious windows creating an altogether welcoming ambience.
The main living room area boasts a comfortable sofa that can also be used as a bed for one of your guests. A flat screen TV is also provided here to keep everyone entertained. Meanwhile a double bed is also tucked away in the corner of the room for two more guests. The apartment includes a fully functioning kitchen so you can whisk up anything from a simple snack to a three course meal. There’s even a little table and chairs to make mealtimes more comfortable.
You will find a private bathroom also provided in the apartment and fitted with a sink, shower and toilet. Located on the 1st floor you can choose to either take the stairs or the lift to your front door. A true highlight has to be the delightful balcony where you can relax together with your guests sharing a bottle of wine or some deliciously cool beers.
You will find the apartment located within the clean, safe and restful district known as Vila de Gracia, or simply Gracia. There are plenty of excellent restaurants and upmarket shops to explore whilst the fantastic retail street Passeig de Gracia is also just a few minutes away. It passes through the adjacent Eixample district which is famous for its grid like street pattern, so different to anywhere else in the city. Look out for two of Antoni Gaudi’s fantastic famous buildings, Cassa Batllo and Cassa Milla. Their incredible facades are equally adored and detested by locals as well as visitors to the city. Gaudi’s easily recognisable undulating organic style is simply not to everybody’s taste. Even those that love Gaudi’s work are not necessarily impressed by the city’s most iconic building, the Sagrada Familia. It remains unfinished today after over 130 years of constant construction. Some even say it resembles a pile of melted cheese! It is of course up to you to decide for yourself.
The apartment’s fantastic location means it is perfectly easy to wander on foot from district to neighbourhood and take your own time discovering what each has to offer. If you don’t feel like walking back to the apartment at the end of the day there are lots of excellent public transport links to ferry you home with ease.
