With room for six people and two bedrooms the Gothic Loft Deluxe C apartment is the perfect base to experience the city of Barcelona. Ideal for large groups this accommodation is located in the heart of the city in the Bari Gotic area.
Situated in an 18th century Neoclassical building this apartment couldn’t be more romantic. Only recently renovated this residence is the perfect combination of modern design and authentic elements such as the beautiful exposed wooden beams on the ceiling.
The lounge area of the residence can be found at the front side of the building. This area consists out of a sitting corner with comfortable seating and a flat screen TV. In the center of this area you will find the large dining table for six with the open kitchen right next to it. The kitchen consists entirely of stainless steel and has everything you need to create the perfect meal.
If you walk to the back of the apartment you will find two large bedrooms with each two double beds in them. Being at the back of the building provides you with the tranquility at night for a relaxing night of sleep. There is enough space to store you belongings and clean bed linen is provided by us. The bathroom is modern and has an oriental touch to it. It is equipped with a shower and toilet and clean towels are our responsibility.
The apartment is located in the Bari Gotic area of Barcelona. You will find yourself in the middle of the city and most important sights on a walking distance away. Bari Gotic is full of history and this is reflected everywhere. Houses from different centuries are built alongside narrow gobble stoned roads and lead you to small romantic squares. In the center of Bari Gotic is the Passeig del Born, the most important square which is filled with cafés and restaurants. It was not always so peaceful here, in medieval times the square was the scene of jousting competitions.
You can walk to the close by Borne area to visit the Picasso and Textile museum. Borne was once home to the textile guilds and if you want to investigate more about this we suggest visiting this museum. But also in modern times Borne is still a wanted and popular area. Since a few years Borne is quickly becoming the trendiest area in the city. Many expensive boutiques and art galleries are opening up all over this part of town.
If you walk the other way you will find Las Ramblas, a 1.2 kilometer long promenade that is busy from morning until late at night. Many restaurant and bars can be found alongside the route and everywhere you can find stalls and street performers showing their latest tricks.
