You will find this delightful holiday apartment positioned to the west of the old city centre and well serviced by delicious restaurants, cafes and some excellent shops and boutiques. Meanwhile the famous Camp Nou Stadium is just a short distance away to the west. This famous structure is of course home to F.C. Barcelona. A visit here to see the impressive trophy cabinets will particularly please sporting fans.
The apartment is also close to lots of pretty parks and open green areas. The closest are Placa de les Corts and Jardin de les Infantes whilst the 11 acre Parc de l’Espanya Industrial is also a great place to visit. It boasts a collection of futuristic ‘watchtowers’ and a handsome artificial lake. Also extremely popular is Joan Miro Park. It actually sits upon the grounds of a former slaughter house but don’t let that put you off! The park attracts thousands of visitors every year and is particularly renowned for its striking sculpture, Dona I Ocell, which was designed by Miro, hence the park’s name.
Getting around town could not be easier thanks to the excellent public transport system in the city. You will find Placa del Centre metro and Les Corts metro stations just a few minutes away. Barcelona Old Town which includes the neighbourhoods of El Raval, El Born and the Gothic Quarter are also just minutes away for you to explore.
