Borne Basilica Loft A Apartment Barcelona

The beautifully styled and intimate Borne Basilica Loft A apartment lies in the popular Born district in the very oldest part of the city of Barcelona.  Sleeping up to 3 guests comfortably it makes an ideal holiday rental for leisure or business travellers alike and it’s a great alternative to renting a hotel room.

The space is divided effectively into three areas. There’s an attractive open kitchen where you can prepare you favourite meals form back home. Why not serve them at the delightful dinner table with three chairs? There is a comfortable sofa where you can relax together rand enjoy the flat-screen TV provided for your entertainment. The apartment comes with a double sofa bed. There is also a clean and modern private bathroom with shower, sink and toilet. There is a lift to take you up to the apartment so no there’s no need to worry about stairs. The décor throughout the apartment is absolutely beautiful – wooden flooring, exposed authentic ceiling beams and bright coloured walls. All in all, the apartment has a charmed and peaceful ambience. Be sure to open wide the large French windows and enjoy the view from the Juliet balcony.

You will find the Borne Basilica Loft A apartment in the magical and uber-trendy Born district. Popular with both visitors to the city and local people this and the neighbouring Gothic district are very interesting to explore. A maze of long and narrow streets and unique gothic architecture, the area is both romantic and timeless.

You don’t need a degree in architecture to have an opinion on one of the most visited buildings in Barcelona, La Pedrera at Calle Provenca 261-265. Gaudi’s opulent organic structure that resembles melted stone is actually an apartment building constructed between 1906 and 1912. Opinions at the time were very much divided and as with many of Gaudi’s mammoth projects such as the more famous Sagrada Familia some critics continue to absolutely hate his work whilst others consider him a genius. The nearest Metro station for La Pedrera is Diagonal.

Take the metro to Villa Olympica and spend a fun afternoon at Barcelona Zoo. Located in the city park, Parc de la Ciutadella, it is ranked among the top zoos in Europe. The open enclosures are impressive and a clearly more humane way to contain the animals safely, whilst allowing you to almost touch them. The zoo’s most famous inhabitant was the world’s only known albino gorilla named Snowflake. Unfortunately he is no longer with us but there are hundreds of other exciting and interesting animals to meet at the zoo who will hopefully be as interested in you as much as Snowflake was interested in his visitors.

Well appointed apartment in great part of town. Be aware you have to collect keys from a separate location before you can gain access to your apartment.

Great apartment, well looked after, ideal location, compact whilst still being spacious. Lack of storage for clothes could be a problem if you were staying a long time, but for a short break it is fantastic.
