The location of this holiday rental is anything if not perfect. You are in the old centre of the city, known as Barrio Gótico, you are a short walk away from some of Barcelona’s greatest places. Especially magical at night, Plaza Real is a beautiful city square where you can chill out. There are many famous bars and restaurants here such as Sidecar or Karma, so that you can enjoy a drink or the finest food you can find. This area dates back from the Medieval and Roman era. Around the corner, you can find Sagrada Familia, probably one of Barcelona’s most important landmarks. Although unfinished (and expected to be done in 2026), this cathedral is incredible and a must see for every tourist.

Also very close is another cathedral, the La Sue, which is very beautiful. Make sure you visit the buildings that Gaudi made which are among others, in the Paseo de Gracia. Even the tiles that you are going to be walking on are designed by the Catalan architect. Next to the cathedral you should be able to make out the remnants of a Roman aquaduct which transported water all through the city.
